About this project

RealActivity Imaging is MANU's neuroimaging platform, built on top of the open-source OHIF Viewer to make brain activity data easier to load, explore, and analyze. It's designed to handle real-time and near-real-time activity data alongside standard DICOM studies, with the goal of a fast, clinician-friendly viewing experience rather than a research-only toolkit.

Current work spans two tracks: the viewer itself — OHIF integration and the DICOM data-handling layer — and active R&D on the diagnostic model side, evaluating architecture approaches for brain and breast imaging against evidenced, published results rather than reaching for the newest idea by default. This is also the project where MANU's imaging tooling is developed hand-in-hand with the healthcare workflow expertise coming from the collaboration with RealActivity, LLC.
